Autoimmune Disorder

An autoimmune disorder is a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own cells, tissues, or organs. Normally, the immune system defends the body against harmful invaders like bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. However, in autoimmune disorders, the immune system fails to distinguish between healthy cells and harmful substances, leading to an inappropriate immune response.
